Complete Live Scan Fingerprint - Usually done at the Postal Annex in Rancho San Diego.

Takes 5-10 minutes to complete. When you go in, let them know you are there to complete a live-scan with Jamul AYSO Soccer. You will need your drivers license with you. They will email confirmation to the league once completed.
Log in to AYSOU. Go to Jamulayso.org. Click in the top right hand corner for My Account. Log in using your registration credentials. Once logged in, find the menu on the left side and click on Volunteer. Select your profile. This will show all of your required certifications, current status, and any expirations. From here, you can either click the AYSOU button or use the left side menu and click on AYSOU (graduation cap). This will take you to a secondary website where all of the trainings are located. Scroll down to start training today and click on Safety First - Start Here! Trainings are also located on the left side menu under training library. These 3 courses only need to be completed one time and never expire.
Complete the AYSOU Safe Haven Online Training
Complete the AYSOU CDC Concussion Awareness Training
Complete the AYSOU Sudden Cardiac Arrest Online Awareness Training
Complete the Safe Sport Training - This is a separate website but accessible through AYSOU under Training Library > Safe Haven. Create a log in and complete the course. Download and save the certificate if needed. A smaller refresher course will need to be completed yearly before the expiration date.
Complete the AYSOU coaching course for the age group you will be working with. U6 and U8 are online only. U10, U12, and U14 are an online course and a 3 hour in person class usually on a Saturday. I recommend clicking on the Online + In-person course. Once the online course is completed, you can schedule the in person training. Classes are usually available late July and through August on various Saturdays. I recommend getting this done ASAP before the season gets going.
You are welcome to take additional courses as well and all courses are free. I recommend the AYSO Summary of the Laws of the Game as a refresher to the rules. If you want to go a step further, do the online regional referee course to become familiar with the rules.
Certification/Trainings - Returning Head Coaches & Assistant Coaches

Confirm all of your certifications are current.
From here, you can either click the AYSOU button or use the left side menu and click on AYSOU (graduation cap).
Complete your yearly Safe Sport Training refresher - This is a separate website but accessible through AYSOU under Training Library > Safe Haven. Use your log in and complete the course. Download and save the certificate if needed.
If this is your first year in a new division (such as entering U10), make sure to complete the coaching course and schedule your in-person training. If this is your second year coaching the same division or you are returning to a previously completed division no need to retake the course.

VIEW YOUR CREDENTIALS
On your main dashboard, scroll down to your profile and click on "My Roles & Certifications". This will bring up your credentials and you can see the status of your required items. These items will update as you complete them. Make sure all items are compliant before the start of the season.
